The ICT/BOWLUS SUMMER THEATRE WORKSHOP is a NEW workshop to the Bowlus this year! This workshop is open to students entering the 6th grade through College. This will be a 2 week long workshop where participants will learn all aspects of theatre! Acting, hair & make-up, costuming, set design, stage managing, lights & sound. The workshop will end with 2 public performances, showcasing the students in School House Rock Live! JR. The workshop is under the direction of Mandy Moyer, the ICT Board and Bowlus Staff.

This is a free program for the public provided by the Whitehead Trust.

The show has a loose, revue-like structure that allows for a great deal of flexibility in staging and cast size in this energetic musical, which follows Tom, a young schoolteacher, who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Memorable songs as "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction" bring his lesson plans vividly to life.

Monday, June 16th from 12 PM - 3 PM

Rehearsals: Monday, June 16th - Thursday, June 26th (Scheduled between 1 - 3 PM)

Show dates are
Friday June 27th at 7:00 PM and Saturday, June 28th at 10:00 AM
