The 2014-15 "One Night Stand"
Coffee House Series

ICT is sponsoring a series of free "Coffee House" concerts at the
Warehouse Theatre, 203 S. Jefferson.

Admission is always free, and refreshments are provided.

The first in the new year 2015's series of free concerts was an evening of "Guitar Therapy" by Doug Toon, on January 8th.  Patrons enjoyed what Doug calls "lite jazz, lite classic, and lite country" selections played on the acoustic guitar.  Doug is a former student of the late Don Hodgeman.

Iola Community Theatre was proud to feature Emma Piazza, Iola High School senior, singer and guitarist in her first one night stand performance at the ICT Warehouse Theatre in Iola, on Saturday Nov 8.

Emma studied guitar with well known local instructor Randy Bevard.  She presented acoustic covers of mainly contemporary pop songs featuring those from artists such as Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse, and more.

Thursday June 5 brought a "one night" engagement of one of ICT's veterans.  Sabra Aguirre (23) has performed in a number of ICT musicals over the years, including "America Is", "Annie Get Your Gun", "Alladin, Jr.", "Beehive", "Godspell", and "Shout!" - and back stage in many more.

Her versatility and vocal finesse shine when she performs songs from artists that ranged from U2 to Coldplay.  Music is part of her soul, and she shared a little piece of it with us.  Jared Ellis joined Sabra on several tunes.
