ICT's "One Night Stand" series of free concerts returned to the Warehouse Theatre with Granddad’s Garage on December 17th, 2011.

Singer-song writer David Shelby says, "Granddad’s Garage stems from a long line of family music.  Growing up in difficult times, and through challenging circumstances, granddad’s garage was a place that we could go and escape from the winter cold and be warmed by a wood burning stove.  The music within the garage was the highlight of the many family get togethers.  Everyone was welcome in the garage, and when the music started, everyone joined in.  Whether they danced, sang, played an instrument or kept time on a five gallon bucket, it was a time of celebration.  The garage is more of an idea now than a place.  In fact we like to think that we have all come out of the garage."  You can learn more about David in the Iola Register article
